Overdub mic mute during record

I am trying to overdub a vocal part and I can see that the mic is routed to the channel correctly because the track VU meter responds to sound. Missing presets

Hi. Why would a plug-in preset be missing? For example, Channel Tools : one of my favorite presets.."widen" is now not on the list?!..

Weird Saving Behaviour

OK.... So I just recorded a little idea on SPLAT. Only 3 tracks of Audio, plus an EZ drummer and a Kontakt track. I save it as a CWB to my desktop, as I always do. However, when I look at the track on my desktop, it's a CWP file. Strange, but no worries, I go back in, and save it as a CWB file again..

Lost oputput to Quad Capture

Brand new project was playing back thru my Roland Quad. Then shut down and reboot and now Sonar meters are outputting, but the Quad is not receiving signal and not sending to my speakers. Separte projects do not come out the speakers. Any idea what happened to my signal?..

Bounce in place feature for audio tracks

Maybe this can be a future request for the Bakers but is there a way to bounce a track so that the new audio clip replaces the old clip on the same track?..

How to control Kontakt instrument dynamics from MIDI?

Sorry to bother... again. I wish to control my Spitfire Audio instruments in the Sonar tracks. I was advised at Kontakt to use the Piano Roll Controller pane in order to input CC-103 (the controller for that instrument's dynamics). I was told not to use NPRN. Are there default plugin settings???

I have the Hornet Autogain MK3 plugin and I use it for gain staging. I like what it does I just with there was a way for the plugin to open with my settings. Is there a way to set default settings for plugin such that it opens to that setting initially?..

2017.08 Discover Tab

Just did the 2017.08 update using the CCC. Wondering why there's no 2017.08 documentation in the Discover tab (ie Tech+Music or Update Overview vid???) There's .07, .06 etc but nothing for .08??..
