Recently purchased a Tascam US 2x2 interface which came with Sonar LE I have sound working from my computer i.e Youtube and Bias FX stand alone (Windows 10) Input signal is shown in Sonar (guitar -> us 2x2 -> Computer -> Sonar), but no output signal on the master channel or any sound at that matter..

I know that I can change the color of the regular volume, pan, etc. envelopes by going to the old color preferences in Sonar. This dummy needs help understanding Sonar's meters....

What are they? My understanding is that dB is used for analog audio and dBFS is used in digital hardware/software audio. Why are Sonar meters described as VU, (an anolog standard)?
