Audio slowing, then dropout

Getting slow choppy audio when in playback. Never used to be a problem. How to know if it's in the audio interface (focusrite 6i6), in the computer, or sonar platinum? Setting different buffer latencies to higher like 1024 helps a bit, but still the issue. (except for recording) which i need at 512 ..

Prevent screensaver/lockscreen when Sonar is running

Platinum 2017.07 Unresponsive

Latest Platinum version (2017.07) becomes unresponsive at a couple of specific times. Sometimes it doesn't start up and hangs at the splash screen. Take splits whenever I edit a fade?

Since the update to 23.7.0 whenever I add a fade to the start or end of a take it splits the take at end point of a start fade or vise versa on and end fade. Is this expected behaviour?
