Dimension ADSR How?

I've searched the forum a few times today looking for a thread to advise me how to change the attack of a Dimension instrument. I specifically want to change the bowing of a string attack to be a bit slower - it kind of rushes in - I apologize in advance for asking what seems to be a simple question..

No arps in Z3ta+2

subject basically says it all. arps don't work, other patches seem OK. Went thru about 20 factory arps, one actually worked, a few just worked on a single note, like 1/16, but most have no output, with some showing a spike in the initial keystroke VU but no sound. What things do i need to check?..
