VS-700r without Synthesizer?

Hi Cakewalk community :-) I'm searching for a Roland Cakewalk VS-700r. Now I have an offer but the seller says it is without the synthesizer. Is that possible? I thought it's fixed hardware inside the VS-700r interface. Thank you for your help...

[SOLVED] ** OCTA-CAPTURE Issues UPDATE: VS Expand "USB Controller Does Not Match"

I am not sure if this is yet another fatality of one of the latest Win 10 updates, but I am suddenly not able to see my Octa-Capture on my Win 10 machine. It worked a few months ago just fine. Now, no joy. I'm wondering now, if it ever actually worked in Windows 10 at all!! I've been on Win 10 ..

VS 700 R as soundcard

As of now I use an Edirol UA 25. I just got the VS 700 system. Will I just use the VS 700 R as my soundcard for all computer stuff as I have with the Edirol? Thanks guys. (I'll probably be bothering you a lot! ) WSS..
