Yamaha S08 Midi Input - was working now not

I'm getting REALLY frustrated here. I decided this afternoon to try connecting my Yamaha Keyboard up via USB. It took a little while of getting the drivers to work, but eventually I got it working - I could play the keyboard and the soft synths in Sonar would respond. Then the keyboard died. I figur..
