Cakewalk MP3 software

Hope someone can shed a light on this issue.. I purchased the CW MP3 encoder a couple of months ago to use with SONAR X1 and all seemed fine. I tried it again recently and all I've got is distortion and clicks and pops. I can render a wav with audiograbber software with no problems, so I don't ..
