What audio interface would you recommend?

What interface would you recommend for a PC used to create music with a MIDI Strat, microphone, etc.? I'd make one man recordings so I don't need many in/out connections. I'd pay more if I had to, but is there something very good for 400+ dollars? I also play games on my PC--would it be good for ..

Computer noise levels increasing over time

Title says it all. When I switch on my Daw, initially it’s deathly silent – I can just about make out a faint whine from the CPU fan.But after a period of time, maybe an hour or more, the noise level creeps up to the point where I can hear it in the room directly below. RAM Problem SOLVED

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post my problem but here goes. A month ago I upgraded my RAM from 6 To 12 GB. I had no problems installing and it showed at System Info that I had 12 GB of RAM installed. Two weeks later I added a Hard Drive for storing project files etc. No problems there...

Auto updates OFF... create restore point first before installing??Windows defender cut it for LIGHT internet use, limited typically to Youtube and Facebook?? then I suppose some will say stay off the internet with your audio computer, which actually can be an option, but it IS nice to watch Youtubes..

My laptop fan has starter going on/off over and over.
