Drive Cloning (How to retain Hard Drive Serial Number)?

Do I need to upgrade for Sonar X3

Hi all, I have a 3 and a half year old laptop as per sig. Will it be a bit long in the tooth for X3?It's been fine so far but I think the Pro Modules start to tax it a little more. I don't regard my productions as particularly complex but then I do need to improve my mixing and mastering techniques...

CPU Core usage

Does anyone know how many cores X3 utilizes? I'm looking at a i7-4770 quad processor or just build a monster (within my budget) and go for a six core i7-4930 Sounds great (bigger is better in this case), but if Sonar is not going to utilize all the cores there is no point for what I am running. than..

no pagefile

I have 12g ram and never notice using more than 6. A few months ago I disabled the pagefile completely for a "test" and then forgot about it. I have not encountered any problems at all. Wondered if anyone else has tried this or... what disaster might await me. John..
