need some quick help please.

About a week ago i hooked up my Peavey vyper 15Watt amp into my laptop Through the 1/8 inch insert from the amp Itself into the 'mic in' insert of my laptop. It had been working fine until like 30 min later When my computer froze for some reason i Dont know. I was not using plug ins or effects..

What would be the downside....

.....of mounting my rack mount pc inside rack unit which is angled slightly backwards. An angled floor rack is slightly more ergonomic than a vertical one, but it's potentially the only place I can put the computer, so, any downsides that anyone can think of? Cheers, Jonesey..

A SATA cable question-

I'm Shure someone here knows this :>)Would it be ok, 'safe, to have the SATA cable (and power cable) disconnected at the drive end but still connected at the PC? I sometime use a second b/u drive which I'd like to just disconnect when it's not needed, but I haven't found an answer for this in google..

Touch Screen for Sonar X2a on Windows 7 questions

Hi, guys, I am considering investing in a touch screen for my studio use. I don't need a 42 or 52 inch screen. I am looking at 23 or 32 inchers. My question would be is a 23 inch screen large enough to comfortably work with Sonar X2a? I know 32 is always better but my area is getting really crowded...
