We all know we should not use them, but we all do i.e. having USB hubs between our studio devices and the DAW. What's the best way to handle that necessary evil? Is there anyone out there with deeper knowledge about how MMCSS (which was introduced back in the win Vista days) affects us DAW/Sonar users now in the Win10 days? Migrating to SSDs

Having issues with large projects @96 KHz I'm considering going "all in" on SSDs. Currently I got 3 standard HDs: (1) system (120 GB), (2) studio projects (750 GB) and (3) sample libs (750 GB). Power Outages

When my new PC comes in I've got figure out how what I need to protect it. Here where I live I have at least one power outage a week. It went out today and I had to wait 2 hours before my PC would restart. The new PC will remedy that! What surge/power protection outage thingy do you guys use?Thanks ..
