Chasing down system hangs.

Clean Windows 10 install: Do I have to install the chipset Drivers from mfg?

I have a new AMD build. I clean installed Windows 10. Everything seems to be working well.Device Manager shows everything OK and no missing or questionable drivers.Do I have to go to the AMD site and download and install the chipset drivers or has Windows taken care of this for me?..
