Why won't some mp3's play in Win Media Player? SOLVED

Considering upgrades

I've never done this before, so I have loads of questions.... My spec is in my sig. Is upgrading the processor more important than the mobo? I see there are Haswell's that have the same socket as mine. I also see Mobos that I would guess are upgrades that use DDR3. I expect to get 16gb more for 32 g..

Project files won't open in Sonar Platinum

Hello,I have, with Acronis, backed up my projects to an external hard drive (F) from my (E) hard drive. I cant seem to open those files directly from the (F) external drive into Sonar. In Sonar I click Open then click on Look in: I see the (F) drive and click on My Backups. No project files are list..

Windows update insanity

I finally clued in to the fact that I keep getting Microsoft C++ 2010 library version 4 on a continuous loop. WHen I checked my update history I can see that the same thing has been installed 31 times since January 13. Anyone else seeing this?..
