Remote desktop

Just out of interest, I've setup remote desktop on my computers using windows 10. I can control my other computer (windows 10 pro X64) using my Windows 10 x64 Home But cant control my windows 10 Home from my windows 10 Pro.... (not at the same time obviously!) Is this normal behavior?..

Monitor Question

I currently have 2 23" monitors. I was thinking about getting a big 27" wide monitor to replace one of them. I don't think the two sizes will bother me, and I want more screen real estate for working in Sonar. My question is, what resolution should I be looking at? I know my current monitors are 192..

Which Windows 10 ?

There's win 10 OEM, Win 10 home and Win 10 premium. Likely there are others I haven't seen yet. I think I bought Win7 64 OEM on my last build and had no issues with it. I am leaning heavily toward Win 10 64 bit. Are there disadvantages to buying an OEM OS? I'm not really sure what the other versions..

SSD and RAM

Hey all, LOL...my earlier post today on "what have we become" and look at me here. Hahaha! However, I've decided that my seven year old machine could legitimately use an update, and I don't want a whole new rig/build. I'm doubling and maxing out the RAM to 8 GB and the system drive will now be on SS..

External Hard drive

I recently scored a 4 TB external storage device.....How can i incorporate this into my daw to free up some hard drive space on my computer and have it work with my sonar projects? I dont want to just hook it up without getting some advice on how i can utilize this properly with sonar. Thx, Ken..

I've ben putting off gettin backup/con drives and a docking station... help.

I need to get this done. I think I know what I need except I'm not sure about the docking station. I know I need SATA but there are different kinds of SATA, is just SATA what I need? I know I need USB 3.0.Should I get a station with two slots or should one be OK since I'll be swapping drives.I need ..

Windows 10 update today... trouble. KB3093266

I had a notice today that I needed to schedule a re-start, I went ahead and re-started. After that Start Menu would not work and gave me a "Critical Error" message, that I need to log out and they would try to fix it when I logged back in... NOT. Action Center also would not open.
