How to sell my music???

Okay, I have some songs recorded. Now what do I do with them? I was thinking about trying to sell them as mp3 downloads. Since pretty much everything is free online, do you think that it will work, nowadays? There are so many hacker and torrent sites. Everything that has ever been recorded can be do..

Loud?!

In my main musical place("studio") there are two 400W speakers(and a 500W sub). The tops produce 123 Db at 1m and it's a rather "dead" room. Often I need all the power when there's a band rehearsing and sometimes the singer needs a floor monitor to hear him/herself I do have some costum made earplug..

Songs in which the drums and/or bass are panned to the side

We're always taught from the start that the kick and the bass should be panned dead center, but every now and then I hear a tune in which this is clearly not the case and I'm always left thinking "hey, that kind of sounds alright." Example: Miles Davis "Funky Tonk"...the drums sound like they're pan..

Just curious....seems like a lot of the old guard are moving on. If anything is a sure thing it's change...guess it had to happen eventually. I first noticed it when I didn't read of bacon... I guess Bapu is bringing home the bacon in the AM...
