Green Tea. Should I be concerned?

I drink quite a lot of green tea, several mugs a day, and usually they've gone cold before I manage to finish them. I've noticed that the inside of the mug is usually in quite a state, stained, bits of who knows what, (tea leaves perhaps?) etc. Question is, I'm tipping this stuff down my neck ..
