NI Vintage Compressors & Transient Master now run as standalone

Just got an email from Native Instruments telling me that these excellent plugs (part of Komplete Ultimate) are now updated to run as standalones without having to instantiate Guitar Rig. Excellent news! I hope this is the shape of things to come with NI. These are great plugins by the way...

Good Grief!!!!!

Nothing like spilling a whole mug of coffee on the coffee table, laptop, cell phone, TV Remote, and carpet to start my morning off. Luckily, the dog licked it all up very quickly... LOL Looks like no damage...

Restaurant recommendations in Austin Tx

I'll be traveling to visit my mother and sister in Austin Texas. I'd like to treat them to a really nice dinner. I like Italian food although I'm open to about anything if it's great food. http://granadatheater.com/ I'll be there! a few years ago I got to see them with YES at the Bass Hall in Ft. Worth, they were pretty dern good! (loved Palmer, Downes and Howe...Wetton...meh...) this should be a more "intimate" show at this theater...

... and why haven't you told every one else? The mention of Joe Walsh Live at Darly's House in another thread led me to the website where I stumbled on Sharron Jones, whom I enjoy very much, and a guy named Allen Stone. He's got a great sounding voice. Who knew? :-)..
