Distortion, Overdrive Pedal or New Valve Amp?

I mean let say you come with something really good and you post it, then some pro or even celebrity by accident will hear it and use it in his recording and get golden record. It doesn't have to be a whole song but a phrase, rhythm or something like that. Wouldn't you be angry? Most amateurs I guess..
