Does anyone *ever* pay full price for a plug-in?

I can't remember the last time I paid the full 'recommended retail price' for a VST or a VSTi. Coupled with Larry's forum, other audio and DAW-related sites, and the numerous offers that regularly drop into my Inbox, it seems to be utter madness to ever fork out top dollar for any of the toys of the..
