Meet Alice!

http://i.imgur.com/G5uIO4L.jpg Our new baby girl - and our 6th cat. That's the official pic because I couldn't get her to stand in the same spot for a 10th of a second. Black cats have a tougher time finding a home, so that was an extra incentive to adopt her. She's the loveliest thing. :)..

My New Hearing Aids

I was fitted with my hearing aids today. It was like someone turning on the light in a dark room. I went from dull mono to clean FM stereo. WOW! I could hear the door knobs tuning to open doors. I could hear my own footsteps! When I got home I heard this incessant knocking. Where was it coming from?..

Ironic Vanity

Need to pass this along- I just installed a new vanity in our bathroom. I took the drawers out to install the knobs, and for the life of me could not get the last drawer to insert straight and line up correctly when I went to re-insert it into the vanity. Old...

Though the hairline is receding, I came to the realization that I still have just as much hair - it's just being relocated, mostly to my ear holes and nostrils. But there's nothing off limits.
