Starfish

I've got a deep question... Starfish are capable of regrowing limbs that are remove, BUT their limbs are also capable of growing new entire BODIES. What does this mean for life? It's like the boat that's rebuilt piece by piece until it's an entirely new boat.. What do you think?..
