Converting CDs to MP3s question.

I've done it before but it has been a while. I think I used Audacity but I'm not sure. My question is this: Is there a fast and good way to do it or do fast and good not go together? Free would be good too. Easy is also good, like "one click". Thanks, J..

Is this the place for "about this forum" topics?

Many forums have specific sections for forum issues or questions. I don't see one here, so I'll take a shot in this one. I'd like to mention that using a CAPTCHA for logging in is annoying. Isn't a user name and password enough? This is a forum, not a bank!..

Tried so hard and got it so wrong... haha

Tonight I recorded a couple of friends and I used a mic sideways to try the mid-side thing... I just took that track, cloned it, panned it left and right and one out of phase...I was so proud of my self...I bounced the tracks and burned a disc (all tonight)...and I realize, I panned the instruments ..

50 meter XLR cables

Actually three of them, long fun I hope. I'll be able to listen to the whole stuff in another place, whitout the noise :) Two of them to listen and one to tell them to tell them to loose the SPL to hear all of it. Oh well, one can hope :)..
