Question about adding vocal harmonies?

First off I'm not a singer, that's for sure, I think I have improved by paying attention over the last year or so. I wanted to ask everyone, what are the best harmonies? Should I approach them like I do doing guitar solo harmonies? What I am getting at and asking is : Should I try and harmonize the ..

Hey guys..and girls...comments appreciated.

The controller isn't always tracking my sustains so it seems things are off kilter in small ways and in a few places...when I play a real piano I am known as a little "heavy handed". I can't play the same way with my controller so the velocities seem too much for this and I need to know what you do ..

Cover of Shadows of the night, sort of

My niece was singing this song when I was visiting in Kentucky. When she came up to Massachusetts, she sang Cups and I sprang this on her. I should have studied the song a bit more and had her sing the harmonies as well. but I just gave her voice more space and it turned out pretty good. It's faster..
