Beethoven's 9th Symphony - 1st Movement

What am I doing wrong?

There's something not quite right about this track -- it sounds to me somehow a bit metallic/tinny, muffled, dull ... its just not sounding the way it sounded to me on the original WAV file, something not quite right that i can't put my finger on. Even if this music isn't your cup of tea, any sugges..
