Horrible sound quality on Soundcloud?

I've noticed that the songs I recently uploaded onto Soundcloud sound terrible. The quality is degraded dramatically. I uploaded 44.1, 16 bit wav files (not mp3) so I was hoping it would sound decent, despite Soundclouds 128 kbps stream rate. Some other people's Soundcloud music sound way bette..
