make scroll bar gadgets NOT grey on white and BIGGER

make scroll bar gadgets NOT grey on white and bigger

I want the scroll bar arrows to be at least twice as wide.

Quicker and easier to use.

Same with the scroll-button-grab-and-pull-gadget: bigger and quick to find: NOT grey on white

They follow - if I'm not mistaken - Windows settings, so change them there. I for one would not want them wider (hell, I'd like to lose the vertical ones completely as I can always use the mouse scrollwheel...).

Windows is doing this wrong for this application.

Nearly all windows settings can be replaced.

I want the scroll gadgets, the little boxes with the arrows, and the grab gadget, to be wider. This will improve efficiency by reducing the time I use attempting to get the mouse pointer in these little spots.

Especially the grab gadget. Why have it shrink to nearly nothing just because the contents of the window does? The relationship does not have to be directly proportional.

I get what you're saying. Honestly, I would just like to see a complete redesign of said scroll bars and buttons (menus as well). I don't like that it's Windows-OS related.
