making dual drum patterns in sonar

hello there i am a newbie in midi sequencing and editing. i am using sonar 3.0 to edit midi files. and i have the edirol studio canvas sd 80 as my sound module. can anybody help me how to make a dual drum pattern for example i would like to edit the drum pattern of a standard drum set. i want to use the snare of the dance pattern while others will be the standard drum set. hope any one can get what i mean.[image][/image]

    Hey welcome, patch construction would be a function of the synth.

    You might be able to use the synth's performance mode if the SD-80 has it, where you access multiple patches at the same time.

    Or you could could record everything to audio tracks, record one pass with just the snare, then record the rest of the other kit on a separate track.
