m-audio midi controller

i just purchased this thing and i cant get it to play anything im using cakewalk sonar 4.2

    More information please. Which thing? Have you got it selected in MIDI devices? What are you using for MIDI output?

    i have a midi controller and lets say i choose omni for inpu on a sonar 4 midi track that i highlight then i insert a dxi synth, a for a output then i choose a preset and a instrument i get no sound . i got the thing to play before and i guess i pushed a button somewhere and it hasnt worked since i even recorded a midi track with the thing

    Which MIDI controller is it that you have? Have you contacted M-Audio? Tried uninstalling and re-installing the drivers? Have you got the most current drivers? Have you tried selecting MIDI channel 1 instead of Omni as input?

    thank alot for the hel i reinstalled the drivers and somehow it magicly works again and im very happy with the controllers per5formance .
    thanks again i spent 2 sleepless nights trying yo figure it out

    well, glad you fixed it .. but if you have a problem next time, please post which
    controller you're using .. 'cause there are several.....
