    I was going to get it when I upgraded to X-3 but forgot about it till the deadline passed. $400 was more than I was willing to go. Thanks to you I rechecked my account and now I have Editor!!

    Probably my most favourite completely useless purchase :).
     
    I do nothing but mess with sampled music, so a tuning program is more or less completely worthless to me. However I bought it anyhow and I have a great deal of fun playing with it. It is just so damn cool, the polyphonic ability just blows my mind. I love using it to deconstruct stuff and mess with it.
     
    A complete waste of money from a practical standpoint, but a wonderful toy for me. I can only imagine the immense utility it would have for people doing live recordings.

    I was really impressed with how easy it was to use Essential on a vocal track in adding harmonies.......and seeing how Editor does sooooo much more........I'm really tempted.

    Got this off there website before downloading. Thought it may be interesting to some.
     
    Melodyne singletrack
    Both the installation program and the installed stand-alone implementations of Melodyne are now called 'Melodyne singletrack'. You may be puzzled by this name, since, after all, your edition of Melodyne is called 'Melodyne editor'; but there's a reason for it: all editions of Melodyne are now delivered as a single integral program package. It is only the serial number (your license) and the activation triggered by it that determine which edition in fact runs from the installed program.

    It has been that way for a while. Guess they got tired of answering the "where is my upgrade software" question when all they supply is a new license.
