meter shows input when silent?

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24683934/meters.jpg
Any ideas why the vox and master show some signal?
There is no sound I can hear.
Is it maybe related to how sometimes it goes pop and the meter shows over the top and then I get silence and have to shut and reopen the file to get sound back?

Open up your FX on the track and bypass them one at a time and see if it goes away. I had a plugin a few days ago that did this...don't remember which one. But I had a track that was showing activity on the meters...I bypassed the plugins one by one and came across one that was causing it.

Mains hum? Hum from a bad cable? But I guess you'd hear that at that level.

No sound and the meter is up half so I'm thinking a plugin mismatch or malfunction might be it.
It's intermittent so a bit more difficult.
I'll have to try taking them out one by one while it's working and see if it eliminates the problem over time.
    thanks guys.

I'm getting the same thing since X1D.  If I change the main output to something else and the back I get sound again.  Just goes to show... you should never upgrade anything.
