metronome 'kick' setting

metronome 'kick' setting

i'm running sonar artist on windows 10..and i'd like to permenantly set the metronome to the
MIDI 'kick drum' setting. But every time I start a new project--it reverts backs to the standard
'tick tock' setting..how can I have the 'kick' metronome all the time? Also have a similar problem with the
record settings..I'd like to have 'sound on sound' most of the time.

    Try modifying the template used to create your projects.
