midi problem

Hello friends! A strange thing happens to me ... in cakewalk by bandlab and also in sonar can not play and record midi on a track instrument. All midi inputs and outputs are properly configured, the midi activity indicator indicates that there is a midi signal ... but nothing sounds on the track. With the virtual controller sounds. If I use the same instrument in the standalone system, it works perfectly. The midi cables and the midi keyboard ... an M-audio prokeys 88 ... works because they go on standalone synths. I thought it was the sound card drivers ... a Konekt 24 electronic TC ... I reinstalled it ... I also reinstalled the Cakewalk by bandlab ... What could it be?

Just taking a stab at it....does anything cause your Audio Engine button to turn off? I have had this happen before, and I as soon as I triggered track playback all was well...audio on.

I have made a tutorial that might help you as it explains with screen shots how to set up and use midi.

merci friends! gustabo and vuzz 14 ... of course the echo is on! It's happened a long time ago not to be set the audio engine on ... I've been checking since then and everything seems right. Cactus ... I'm watching your tutorial now and come back ...

No. Nothing works. I tried all the variants ... the midi controller works on the soft synth in standalone and does not work in cakewalk. echo input is on on ... midi input is selected correctly and in track view is set to all omni inputs.

I succeeded! ... I do not know exactly how ... but I did! after selecting and deselecting a thousand times the midi settings, I did two things and everything started to work ... I gave a mix recall ... and I replaced a setting that contained mackie control surfaces (for home I have a M-AUDIO PROJECT MIX, which was now not connected) with a midi controller act. And after that everything started to work.
