    Welcome to the forum!
I can't say I know what you mean by "mixing and mastering part" of Home Studio, but I guess you mean the Track View (??). I don't have Home Studio but I suppose you select it using the "View" dropdown (??). But then again: Your question suggests you already have recorded something, so you most likely have used the Track View already. If so, I must say there is no separate part for mixing and mastering and I have no clue about what you're expecting to find in HSXL.

I warmly recommend spending a few days reading the manual (Help files) and doing the tutorials.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

I think you're right. I understand the OPs expression for mixing, but not at all for mastering...
