modes and tools thread

so going from live tracks to  a mixing mode, or view  is there a toggle ??
 i seem to have to go back on my onw music tracks like say  the vocals we know are always somthing that grows in song .
 so  if wanted you inset a new track but if selected ( since not everyone has to go back over  a track.)
you  get  a quick view change set up with a buss, bypass effects.
i guess what im saying is audio templates could be better.
 i hate to admit it but my music is compleatly on the fly.
 i start with a drum beat and beat on the axe slide to bass,forever on vocals, a aveage musican follow this
 and i want sonar to be the best and see no other DAW with this quick insert method.
 maybe im just not quick with all the  track view stuff yet but workflow on more than 1 monitor needs to be as quick and EASY as it can be.
 the a single click ,
and honestly the tools should all just be keybindings i hate that little right click box .
