modulating vector mix in Dimension Pro

Dimension pro would be very powerful if the vector mixer could be controlled via modulators, or CC's. At present, I can see no way to route modulators to the vector mixer.

If this was possible, Dimension Pro would have a leg up on the Wavestation because DP could use user samples (unlike Wavestation).

The process is a little more intuitive in Rapture. Right-click, and select the axis parameter in the X-Y Pad. In Dimension Pro, you have to go through your host application, and use its "DXi" automation parameter setup. Vector Mixer X, Vector Mixer Y, and Vector Desaccel are 'exposed' as automation. Enable the ones you want, then you'd use the host's Remote Control to bind a MIDI/CC message to a Vector axis, or the amount of 'motion smoothing'.

As for modulators ... you'll have to use something from 'outside' of DimPro. I've had success with host automation, certain MIDI FX, hardware LFOs, effects devices like SpectraFX, synths with MIDI Out features such as Atomic, etc.
