monthly payments- how does it work technically?

I expected to find a Preapproved Payment set up in my Paypal after purchasing my first month of Sonar Platinum membership, but apparently not, it was a single payment. Am I supposed to go to the Cakewalk Shop every month and make a payment? Is there no way to make it automatic? Can I buy several months at once then? Couldn't quite find the info about that specifically.

    Cakewalk cannot setup automatic payments from your Paypal account, you have to do that on your end. Cakewalk Customer support can help you with the process.
     
    Unfortunately that is the limit of my knowledge. Hopefully someone who has setup a monthly payment via Paypal will come along and provide more details.

    I don't know if this helps, but if you use a credit card, the payments are set up as automatic.
    I don't use Paypal, so I don't know what their procedures are.

    Thanks for confirming CC would autopay. The only thing I recall CW saying about PayPal was autopay required the user to set it up. I don't have a PayPal account either.

    If you're paying monthly via PayPal, you will receive an email invoice each month (from Cleverbrige) containing a payment link.
