mp3 encoder/pricing - wtf?
ok - I like the fact that CW used the Transport Bar to show processing...so much so, that I bought the Activation for the mp3 encoder (which I did many years ago but seeing as how neither one of us as a record of it..I paid!). And yes it looks nice processing in the Current Now Time area of the Transport "Module"... (as opposed to the DOS window I was looking at with the lame encoder)
2 problems:
- why is there still (after all these years) the secondary window popping up wanting me to repeat the default settings I have chosen every time I have used it in the past...wtf! (I know, I know, not CW's responsibility...which leads us to the next issue).
- to buy the activation for the mp3 encoder, my cost was $20 for the "Producer" edition - whereas the cost is $10 for the "Audio Creator LE" edition...if this additional cost, over the purchase of the CW software, is 100% for the encoder, why is there any difference...again, wtf!
I guess my point is that if they are still charging, after all these years, and additional $10 for the encoder in Producer, can't they at least work with the basics such as process by default - that extra window and mouse clicks should not be there after all this time and money CW has pulled in for this - they should have at least made some effort to incorporate the 3rd-party software/output to be transparent within X1.
