ms2 / nki files

can I load an instrument in Sonar X1 that has ms2 / nki files?

my problem being that I have a piano library that needs Kontakt, but I only have Kontakt Player.

I don't know about ms2 but the nki extension is for Kontakt program files. Meaning their instrument files. They are not the wav files but what Kontakt uses to identify and setup and instrument. You Kontakt to open such files. Its a sampler.

As for ms2 I found this:
File extension .ms2 is a Unknown or unassigned file extension..

Not only do you need the full Kontakt, you may also need a specific version of Kontakt. Check with the library's developer for requirements.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
