multi song cd mastering Q?

is it possible to master a whole CD's worth of songs at once and cut the tracks in one session using sonar producer (I have version 8)? I have used CD architect in the past, which lets me lay out all my songs in order, crossfade, segue, vary the space in between, put in hidden tracks, lead ins, regions, etc. can we do all that stuff with Sonar? If so, how? All I can figure out is how top burn one song at a time.

thanks a million!

why can't you import all your other songs (mixed down to stereo two track) into one long song, and do it that way?

you still have to be able to create the song breaks tho.

    wavelab makes this easy.

right, I know how to load in all the songs one after the other (duh), I can draw all the crossfades and stuff...just how will I let the CD burner know which is trakc 1 trk2 trk 3, etc? Can this be done, using Sonar, is my question. Help!

if you're wanting to use the CD burner in sonar, you have to put each song in a different track in order to get it to burn those to different songs on a CD, not one long track.  so the way cake chose to implement the burner is not condusive to "mastering" the songs to be the same level since they have to be on different tracks for the burner.

Alrighty, then. It looks like PYRO does something like what I'm talking about. It's only like $20, too, much cheaper than CD Artichoke.
