music creator6 (changing instruments)

 / hi,having just changed from Bandstand to music creator6 im having a problem changing the instruments on a midifile.can anyone tell me of the easy way to do this,i have mastered the art of key change but am stuck with instruments....thanks

    Welcome to the forum.
    In the MIDI track pane, click the PCH (patch) drop-down arrow and select another instrument.
    If you're using software synthesizers, you may have to change the patch in it's GUI, depending on which synth it is.

    depends too on the synth you are using.  

    some are easier than others. 
    not hard to do, you just gotta learn your way around the synth GUI.
