muz3um

Does the latest z3ta+ include muz3um? I have muz3um, but part of the installation says to put put some files in your presets folder....there is no presets folder in the z3ta folder...

edit: also, i dont see z3ta in p5....should it show z3ta from sonar 7 or do i need to install my download copy?

Cakewalk has changed the way things work lately to support Vista better so a lot of things are now in either a sub-folder of My Documents or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Cakewalk. The latest builds of z3ta+ store their presets in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Cakewalk\z3ta+\Programs" but still store .wav files, arpeggios etc. in "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\z3ta+\". Obviously this is far more logical and convenient than the old way of just having everything in one folder.

As far as P5 goes, you can just add Sonar's plugin folders to its scan paths in the Options > VST Plug-Ins dialog.

    try this:

    - put the .wav files in your existing "Wavetables" folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\z3ta+\Wavetables)
    - put the .cmp files in your existing "Arpeggios" folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\z3ta+\Arpeggios)
    - put the .128 files in your existing "Programs" folder (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Cakewalk\z3ta+\Programs)

I can't get any expansions to work this Z3ta - no problem with Rapture/DimPro and Vanguard so I don't know why it's so difficult with Z3ta.

Anyway, If you can't see Z3ta at all in P5 I would check that P5 is looking in the right place for VST plugins and also run a scan just to check (opsions>vst plugins).
