I usually charge 1000 dollars for a good idea but I can slide you a couple of hair brained ones for 250........

  Ok heres one to start.
If you use one of those weed wackers that use nylon line, buy a big roll of it and measure how long of a piece it takes to fill the roll. Find something about that long. I use a piece that goes from hand to hand with my arms stretched all the way out or 15 turns on the spool.Pull off 15 or 20 rolls of it from the big spool. I use bread wrappers or plant wrappers to tie each roll. I put these in a bag and carry two around with me in the yard. When I run out of line, I already have the pre-measured refills ready to go. Saves a lot of time if you do a lot of it......

If you are planning a vacation/trip go to groupons.com. Register and go to the area you will be at. There are a ton of great printable coupons there.

Hmmmm, what else?.......... Its late, maybe I'll come up with more later.

Just because small animals may fit in the microwave, it's not the best place to put them.

Hope that helps.

Exactly what kind of ideas are you looking for, Mike?  I'm willing to help--I'm sure others are, too.  By default, I'm usually in silly mode for the CH, and I thought you'd be in that since there wasn't an explanation in the original post.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?

OK, then.  You sounded a little serious in the last post or two.  I just wanted to make sure.  I'll give some thought.

How about a Wallace & Grommet avatar?  I'd guess there might be a few images of them around.

FWIW, I'm working with a "posterized" photo of some well known human as a *character* theme.

For example; I almost used Mr. Potato Head but he didn't seem to apply to the theme.

Interesting.  Are you looking for original photos?  If so--what resolution?

I just grab stuff off Google images.

The final avatar is only 150x150 pixels and the posterization process bulldozes over lo resolution noise so I can use just anything that I find.

My real interest is in discovering clever and hopefully humorous ironies with the character choice, the actual pose in the image, and the "issue" identified in the text blurb.

I'm just trying to channel my frustrations in a positive way. :-) :-)

I have to hit the road for a gig, be back tonight.

all the best,
mike
