I own something like 40-45 guitars. I feel uniquely qualified to offer useless advice. You really want a guitar that is flexible, that is capable of a wide range of tones. You also want a design that stands the test of time. The PRS is not the place to start. You might add it when you have say 40-45 guitars.

Here is a good starter guitar.

    XXXXXXXXXX

    Or this

    XXXXXXXXXXXX

    Or

    XXXXXXXXXXXX

That will give you lots of options.

Unfortunatley the association of the fist one with Hank Williams Jr renders it valueless.

    Probably covered in BBQ sauce.

space do you have to have arms like a giraffe has a neck to play that last one? haha

if I was spending so much money (not that I would be) , well it'd have to be in the UK... lessens the chance of any scams happening.

    Hello,

Funny, I was considering this trombone...

    http://www.dillonmusic.com/Arthur_pryor_tbone/APryor_Trombone.htm

Now I'm thinking the PRS git is a bargain. As for the 6-necker (I just love that axe). I'd cut it in half so that I had 2 x 3 neckers each with a bass. Then I'd sell one for $2K to pay for the purchase. How much is the gig bag for that thing?

I have a doubleneck Charvel surfcaster thing. It is massive and it is only 2 necks.

Rick Nelson of Cheap Trick occasionally brought out a 5 neck and it wore him out.

    George,

I'd wanna make sure it wasn't a knock off (counterfeit) made in the US in a garden shed or wherever the equivalent version of Bolton.

Yeah, but if you buy mine for that price, the shipping is free! And as you're a CW user, I'll even hand deliver it.
You won't get THAT service from a shop selling them for 300 quid!
