May seem silly, but guitar is mono signal, M-Audio may have a stereo switch, or you may have to select through GTP3. I'm not very well schooled, but a place to start. When selecting outputs see if there is a stereo option. Good luck.

Once again, just guessing, are you using a demo, or a plug-in that may not be registered, happened to me. It's their way of stopping pirating copies, and I am not accusing you, just letting you know, if ya don't on some they will do that. Or is it on vocal parts only, try that, and see. as for the going out of time, plenty there, latency issues, does it have a snap to grid function, or audiosnap, I'm really reaching here, maybe someone will chime in, and give ya some good advice, good luck!
