new DAW

well i got my new computer from jim at studiocat...a truly pleasant experience...the man defines customer service.

installed X1 easily...after some operator error.

seems to be running great...even managed to use v-vocal to generate a complete harmony

first session went about 6-7 hours...no crashes

i know X1 is buggy...maybe i should've waited for X1b but i was salivating to badly...and it seems to be working well for me.   it IS a computer so i know i will have moments when i want to throw the whole thing off the nearest skyscraper, but so far so good

    Yeah Jim makes good boxes. We use a Delta 1010 and an akg 414 as well (they're a good 'marriage', for my vocals anyway).  Congrats on the new system.
