Right out of the gate this mix caught my attention as being superb. I love the song and arrangements as well. The vocal parts are very expressive and befitting of the song.

Best thing you guys have ever done, hands down...arrangement, mix, performance, this one is just a perfect DT song: groovy, menacing, quirky, and mildly creepy.

WHOA... flipped me out, guys.  Yeah, what James said and then some.  Full of musical surprises and interesting turns all of which worked just incredibly well.  Superb mix with one minor nit (for me) I would have liked to have heard the vocals a bit more out in front during the main lyrical passages.

    Blew me away... LOVED it!

Whoa - nearly missed this.  Dunno how you guys do it - always distinctly DT but always different and mixes getting better every time to my humble ears. Very creative vox. I'm feeling big time jealous listening to the standard of tunes on here today and this is no exception.

Great stuff – very pro and very original. Love the vocals – they have that raw, slightly off in places, quirky  but definitely enjoyable quality. Super arrangement – there is always something interesting going on. The playing is all “simple” , effective totally on the money – you’ve created a weird mood and a off-kilter track.  Such an odd style – all I know is I like it. Great job.

    Hey, Tony and Tom,

How's it going, guys?  Having a great summer, I hope!

Wow, we finally get to hear another cool, tasty, quirky DT audio treat!  This is really fantastic all the way round.  Great songwriting as always, dynamite instrumental performances, killer vocals and a pro quality mix.

I really love the silky playing and razor tone of the wah solo, and the little breaks and changeups throughout the whole song seal everything up in a perfect little DT sound package.

    Outstanding job, me boyz!

Fantastic mix!  Very well done.  The core of this production is great.  The drums/bass/guitars all sit very well in this mix and sound great.  Watch the volumes of the mid-panned guitar that plays when the lead vocal is singing in the first verse.  There were a couple of times where they were competing.

As for the song itself... THAT WAS WEIRD!  Now don't take that as a negative because I absolutely loved it for its creativeness.  It disturbed yet delighted at the very same time!  Great job guys!

    Thanks for sharing,
    Tom

another hit guys. love the little 80s influences which crept in this one, from the guitar tone to synth to the catchy vocal oohs...mix is very good. think i prefer you in darker mode, but this would be a great change of mood and pace on an album...

Nice beefy mix. Very entertaining listen. Love the breathing..) Love the arrangement of the opening guitars, found myself wanting to hear that again during the beginning of the solo and at the end where it's panned center instead of L/R. Great tune!

I covet your guitar tones. Great arrangement. Love the nearly pleading vocal. Clever lyrics. Good harmonies. Some very cool vocal work toward the end. I love this song!

    Thick and brisky showmanship, to my ears;

I love the tunnel-phoned vox/dist-guitar combo with the anticipated Haas counters.
Then things entice majestically with the beatz filling the panorama.

Of course things scat-out most wonderfully ... as expected by Distant Towers.

Ending "Bring it down" is a cool fate -- hahaha!

    Totally awesome show!
