new alt pop/rock public radio station

minnesota public radio has launched a new alternative rock/pop eclectic mix station by hiring some of the best people from the Radio K 'gem of the am dial' university of minnesota college radio station and a lot of people let go from failed alt radio stations

it's a little toned down and more consistent quality than its predecessors, but it's a lot of music that doesn't make it to normal air waves

my favorite DJs are Mary Lucia 2-7 pm local time and Mark Wheat (a transplanted Brit) 7- midnight (oh yeah public radio works its people long hours)
