new equipment mics, room dressing

what about 4040 audio technica, sm 57, and one of those SE electronics reflexion filters for a basic beginning.  I have some basic stuff already and have recorded about 10 hours over the last 10 years (started with Cakewalk 9?), but am looking at spending 1800+ for basic stuff (adding in a Babyface RME- have not found a flaw yet with this idea)

Machine:Windows 7, Dell Latitude Core i5, 64bit, 4GB ram, 282 GB HD
Equipmente~  Taylor 550 12 string converted to six string, Baritone YB1 Yairi , custom 5 string Ibanez bass with Bartolini's, Ovation 1983 collectors edition SSB, custom 1983 Squire Fender with Seymore Duncon sgl, sgl, hb, Wet Suit, TRek Madone 5.2 SL bicycle

    I'm sure you'll get other suggestions for the AT, but it looks pretty good for a starting kit.
