new song #2, working mix #2
https://soundcloud.com/bats-brew/tune-2-mix-2 no working titles on these new songs i'm working on, i'll figure that out later. this is the 2nd song towards the next album i'm working on.... this is the 2nd mix i've posted, looking for suggestions about mix decisions, bass and kick translations, vocal clarity, etc. i appreciate any responses, as these are current working mixes, i'm changing them quickly.

Kinda like a live 'on stage thingy' were the head bangers get off, I love all your stuff as an old rocker, but I think you've got a lot to do with the mix of this track and I'm not sure where I'd start to be honest, maybe you might like to re-think the break an let the vocal harmonies take more stage over the shredding and wotnot, in fact pull back the 'Blue is the colour' harmonies to the front and save the shredding till later .... Oh sod it! leave it as is it's bloody good and what do I know .. So thanks for sharing

on stage thingy, heheh, i like that description! i pretty much like the mix as is, but, having said that, i'm starting over on the mix, and am going to strip down a few guitar parts here and there, and spread the background vox out, re-think the kick/bass relationship a bit, and tweak a bit. thanks for listening, you were the only one!
