Without knowing exactly which song you were showcasing, I listened to the piano concerto since you said you were working on a classical piece.  Anyway, I'm impressed.  The weaving of strings around the piano was very nice.  The piece was over before I knew it, which means it had my attention all the way.  Good work.

    All the best,

You did this all in PRV?  Wow, I'm impressed!  Makes my hands tired just listening to it, but it's quite nice.  What software are you using for the piano and strings?

Great job and welcome to the forum!

Really enjoyed this, could appreciate it since I done a lot of piano classical during my grades (however havent touched it at that level in years rendering me now a very basic piano player, lol).; You got skill bruva and this held my attention to the end too.

Pretty impressive work Thomas. I am not terribly fond of the tone of the piano, but I suspect you may be limited by the tools you have at your disposal. It sounds like you have gone "out of range" with a few instruments in that they begin to take on a very midi quality at times. I find that one of the major challenges with many libraries. They can have wonderful tone within certain octave ranges, but move beyond it above or below and things go awry.

A lot going on in this piece, especially for piano roll. Very impressive to say the least. Very interesting composition. Had to take a mental break half way through and then restart. Just means I'm getting old. Very busy and very well done. Blessings, John

    Thomas -

This was awesome!  Nice counterpoint stuff going on, it was fun to listen to.

Also, I listened to "YaY".  Holy cow did Victor Wooten stop by and lay down some bass for you?  That was some funkadelic bass!  Great production to

thanks guys for the nice words !  thanks for the welcome Janet..i actually used mixcraft beta 6 to do all the prv input and transposing and inverting etc  because i work about twice as slow using producer prv (x1) .. i think i shouldve uploaded it back into sonar before mixdown though to get a better sound cuz mixcraft sound is kinda limited..
hi foxwolfen, yup alot of it is definitely out of range, i was just trying to make it sound like a concerto without thinking about what instruments make it sound llike it should (example: the low end supplied by distorted fretless)  and thanks mike for listening to yay!   and thanks for the listen guitarplayer and cian
(btw im not actually a guy, even though yes i know i my screenname says 'thomas' lol) (jusct thought id point that out heh heh. ..thanks all! JJ

I'd sooner give up music than program this in PRV!
